In Brief
Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre - The Myths of the Vikings

Information
In the Beginning there was only ice and fire – with the great emptiness of Ginnungagap in between...
So begins the Creation of the World of the Norsemen.

Gather around once more and hear stories of ODIN the King of the Gods, THOR and his mighty hammer and LOKI – the shape changer, adventurer and mischief maker. Battle ‘Frost Giants’, dodge magical beasts and feel the thrill of storytelling, just as the children of the Norse once did.

The puppet-maker carves beautiful wooden puppets, all the time living the stories of the past through his skilful carving and imaginative storytelling.

These stories, originally from the Viking World, were brought to our country by adventurers, pirates and settlers whose influence remains with us to this very day.

This show is very suitable for schools audiences who are studying Vikings and everyone interested in great storytelling

'A powerful and beautifully crafted piece of theatre from one of Scotland’s leading puppet companies'
Puppet Animation Festival Scotland.

‘This company is so creative...the children loved the show.’
