Original paintings by the late John Paterson to raise funds for research into motor neurone disease. Opening accompanied by Lute & Classical guitar recital.

Three piece playing traditional Irish, British & American tunes inc. bluegrass.

20 APRIL: FLOOK
Easdale welcomes this outstanding band of traditional musicians who have squeezed us into their current tour.

Featuring the Island Music Project in various guises.

One of Scotland’s foremost balladeers / storyteller & organiser of the festival club at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections Festival.

27 MAY: HIGH HEEL SNEAKERS WITH BBC MUSIC LIVE
Jazz funk quintet specialising in latin dance music.

28 MAY: FIONNA DUNCAN & LORNE COWIESON QUARTET WITH BBC MUSIC LIVE
Also featuring Paul Harrison on piano. Best young jazz band in the west.

Photojournalist Colin McPherson sets a front page project for locals culminating in an exhibition.

24 JUNE: MIDSUMMER BARBEQUE featuring FOOLS GOLD
Easdale Islands very own ceilidh band with an eclectic mixture of music to listen and dance to.

1 JULY: ARGYLL ARTS CLASSES
Opening of an exhibition by local artists all of whom are pupils of Argyll Art Classes including fourth, third and first year work.

8 JULY: SALE OF ORIGINAL ART & DESIGNER MADE ITEMS

15 JULY: POTTERY DAY
Return of local potter Antonia McDougall (Collaig pottery) to work with clays and glazes.

22 JULY: KITE MAKING
With Rita Winters and David Rennie. Two of Scotland’s premier makers direct a day of making large & small scale kites & wind socks leading to a grand fly-by spectacle.

28 JULY: BURACH
A unique blend of celtic traditional, jazz, rock, blues, and even some classical roots in there too.

Islanders bust a gut to import the winters fuel supply followed by a shindig with London Jazz Tim Richards Trio. Volunteers welcome!

With Easdale Island's very own Fool's Gold.

24 SEPTEMBER: WORLD STONE SKIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP with MEXICAN MARIACHI BAND
A bizarre and colourful spectacular band with sombreros, flares & cummerbunds, trumpets and maracas.
